Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g pasta (macaroni)
- 250 g Parmesan, freshly grated
- 250 g mozzarella, grated
- 200 ml cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper

Macaroni with Parmesan sauce and mozzarella baked
Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. For the sauce, heat the cream and butter over low heat and season with salt and pepper. Before the cream comes to a boil, add the grated Parmesan cheese and melt into the sauce, stirring constantly. Mix the sauce with the pasta and pour into a non-stick or buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with the grated mozzarella (or Gouda cheese) and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C fan/convection oven (200°C top and bottom heat) for 15 minutes. The mozzarella should melt, but not turn brown.
