Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 125 g flour
- 125 ml milk
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp Parmesan, grated
- some fat, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Combine flour, milk, egg, and salt in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth. Let rest for 15 minutes. Pour a thin layer into a greased, hot pan at about 3/4 of the maximum heat. If desired, spread about a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese evenly over the still-unset dough. Fry the pancakes until golden brown on both sides. A Parmesan pancake is the perfect accompaniment to a colorful salad or tomato soup.
