Parmesan rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 g yeast
  • 250 g wheat flour, also wholemeal flour
  • 50 g Parmesan, grated
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 100 ml water, lukewarm

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

As a snack for the buffet or as a roll, for 20 pieces

Let the yeast swell for 5 minutes with 50 ml of lukewarm water. Knead the flour, cheese, oil, salt, and the remaining 50 ml of water with the dough hook, add the yeast mixture, and knead well again. Roll the dough into 20 small balls and place them on a baking sheet. If you like, you can also shape the dough into rolls; this will make about 10 rolls. Cover the rolls and let them rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. Brush the rolls with a little olive oil before baking. Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C (top and bottom heat) for about 15 minutes. Tip: I added a few herbs to the dough. The rolls also taste delicious with wholemeal flour.
