Parrot Cake

The perfect parrot cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Butter
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 5 Eggs
  • 5 tbsp Sweet or sour cream
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 packet Vanilla sauce powder
  • 1 bag Jelly green or red
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa
  1. Make a batter from butter, sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder and cream. Then divide the dough into three equal parts, the vanilla sauce powder is stirred into the first. In the second the jelly and in the third the cocoa. Pour the dough into a greased cake tin in sequence and mix carefully with a fork, as you would with marble cakes. Make the icing in the color that best suits the cake.
