Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300g penne
- 2 jars of tomato sauce, optionally with basil
- 300 g chicken breast
- 2 handfuls of basil, fresh
- 200 g crème fraîche
- 200 g mozzarella, grated
- 80 g Parmesan
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Cook the penne al dente. Meanwhile, season the chicken with salt and pepper and then fry until golden brown. Drain the pasta, add the chicken and tomato sauce, and heat briefly. Lightly oil the casserole dish and fill it halfway with the pasta mixture. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, top with a handful of basil, and then spread the next layer of pasta mixture on top. Finally, spread the crème fraîche over the top. Bake the casserole at 190°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes.
