Pasta bake with chard

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bunch of chard, 3-4 leaves
  • 5 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • 200 g pasta, small
  • 200 g cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • Cheese, grated, preferably Emmental
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta until al dente and pour into a greased or oiled baking dish. Season with salt. While the pasta is cooking, finely slice the chard, making sure to chop the stems especially finely. Slice the ham and add both to the pasta in the dish. Mix everything thoroughly. Whisk together the cream, egg yolks, and flour, along with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg. Pour into the dish, and finally sprinkle with the cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 20-25 minutes.
