Pasta bake with salsify and pineapple

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 can pineapple, drained weight approx. 260 g
  • 200 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 340 g salsify
  • 240 g pasta, e.g. Gobetti
  • 10 g almond sticks
  • 1 egg(s)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Wash the salsify and blanch for 10 minutes, then rinse and rinse with water. Peel off the skin and slice thinly. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the pineapple and chop it if desired. Layer everything in a baking dish, alternating with some cheese. Beat the egg with some cheese, sprinkle with the remaining cheese, sprinkle with almond slivers, and bake for 20-30 minutes at 180°C fan-assisted oven. Season with pepper and serve.
