Pasta cake with ham and bacon

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (croissants)
  • 300 g cream cheese with herbs
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g ham, cooked
  • 100 g bacon (breakfast bacon)
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • pepper
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the pasta until al dente. Meanwhile, beat the eggs with the cream cheese and season generously with pepper. Mix the pasta with the cooked and cooled mixture. Grease a 26 cm springform pan and add half of the pasta mixture. Cut the ham into bite-sized pieces and place on top of the pasta. Spread the remaining pasta on top, halve the bacon lengthwise, and cover the pasta layer with it. Sprinkle the cheese over the pasta and bake the pasta cake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 175°C and bake for another 20 minutes. After removing the pan, let it cool slightly; this will make it easier to slice and enhance the flavor.
