Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 150 g ham
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 sprigs basil, fresh
  • 1 large egg(s), if smaller, then 2 eggs
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, cut the ham into thin strips, peel and finely dice the onion, wash and halve the tomatoes, and wash the basil, tear off the leaves, and cut into strips. Preheat the oven to 225°C (top/bottom heat). Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions and ham. Add the tomatoes and basil and toss briefly in the cooking fat. Place the drained spaghetti in a baking dish with the ham mixture and mix. Whisk together the egg and milk and season well with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture over the spaghetti and bake for about 8 minutes. Serve sprinkled with freshly shaved Parmesan cheese.
