Pasta casserole with tea sausage

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g pasta
  • 125 g sausage (tea sausage), fine
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 100 g Emmental cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • n. B. Butter flakes

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. In the meantime, dice the onion and sauté it in a little margarine in a pan. Add the tea sausage. Cook over medium heat for about five minutes, stirring occasionally. Crack the eggs and mix with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and milk. Place half of the cooked pasta in a baking dish and sprinkle with about 50g of cheese. Spread the onion and tea sausage mixture on top and cover with the remaining pasta. Sprinkle everything with the remaining cheese and pour the egg and milk mixture over it. If desired, add a few knobs of butter. Bake the casserole for about 15-20 minutes. Serve with a green salad. Note: The quantities can of course be adjusted according to taste.
