Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g pasta (croissants)
  • 250 g Italian salami, cut into thin, 1 cm wide strips
  • 150 g cheese (Emmental), cut into small cubes
  • 2 peppers, red and green, mild, cut into small cubes
  • 120 g gherkins, halved, thinly sliced
  • 1 small shallot(s), very finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove(s), very finely chopped (optional)
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp cream
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • some salt and pepper, white
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • ½ tsp paprika powder, medium hot
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tbsp parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp chives, very finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, then rinse with cold water and drain well. Combine the pasta, salami, cheese, pepperoni, cucumber, shallot, garlic, parsley, and a tablespoon of chives in a bowl and mix well. Mix the mayonnaise with the cream until well combined. Combine the lemon juice, sugar, and spices and stir into the mayo and cream sauce. Thin the sauce slightly with the milk, mix well, season well, and pour over the salad. Mix everything thoroughly, let it stand for a while, and serve sprinkled with the remaining chives.
