Pasta sauce with spinach and feta

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 450 g creamed spinach, frozen
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 3 tomatoes, dried
  • 3 garlic cloves, squeezed or chopped
  • 200 ml cream
  • lots of thyme
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • lots of sumac, or a dashes of lemon juice
  • lots of olive oil
  • n. B. herbal salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Defrost the spinach in a deep dish in the microwave at 1000 watts for 4 minutes. Turn the block over occasionally and add the melted spinach from the sides to the top of the block. Finely dice the onions and sauté in plenty of olive oil in a small saucepan until translucent. Add the spices and garlic, then the spinach. Stir thoroughly. Finely chop the sun-dried tomatoes and dice the feta. Add the cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and feta and simmer for five minutes, stirring frequently. Goes well with tortellini or short, wide pasta.
