Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 125 g pasta
  • Salt
  • 1 can corn (425 g protein)
  • 300 g peas, small, frozen
  • 250 g tomatoes
  • ½ cucumber(s)
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 bunch of dill
  • 125 g cooked ham
  • 125 ml oil
  • 3 tbsp vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek
  • 1 small garlic clove(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

tastes very fresh and is ideal for the barbecue season

Cook the noodles in plenty of salted water until al dente, then drain. Rinse the corn and cooked peas in lukewarm water in a sieve and drain. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into eighths, removing the stems. Wash the cucumber, halve them lengthwise, and slice them crosswise. Trim, wash, and diagonally slice the spring onions. Finely chop the dill and cut the ham into short strips. Mix the vinegar, oil, sambal oelek, and the crushed garlic clove to make a salad dressing. Combine all ingredients in a bowl with the dressing, season with salt, and let it sit for about 15 minutes. If I’m serving the salad as a side dish for a barbecue, I omit the cooked ham.
