Pasta with applesauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (macaroni, or similar)
  • some margarine
  • some breadcrumbs
  • 400 g applesauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water. When the pasta is tender enough, drain. Melt the margarine in a pan, lightly fry the pasta, then add some breadcrumbs and let it cook for a moment longer. Serve the pasta on plates and drizzle with applesauce. I remember this recipe from my kindergarten days; I loved it.
