Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 apples, sweet
- 600 g spaetzle
- n. B. salt and pepper, black
- e.g. butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
fried spaetzle with apple slices
First, cook spaetzle. You can make them yourself or use store-bought ones. Ribbon noodles and the like also work. Then let the spaetzle cool for 10 minutes. Day-old spaetzle is best. Cut the apples into small, halved wedges. Fry the spaetzle in butter and add the apples just before they start to brown. Fry together until the spaetzle have light brown spots. Season with salt and pepper.
