Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 5 tbsp olive oil (only use good quality!)
  • 2 tbsp capers (preferably nonpareils)
  • 1 can tuna (in its own juice)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Quick pasta sauce for all durum wheat semolina pasta

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Heat the olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat and add the capers. Be careful: if the oil is too hot, it will splatter. Add a pinch of salt, lightly crush the capers with a fork, and sauté. Drain the tuna, add it, and mix. Cover the pan and heat the sauce briefly; then keep warm until the pasta is ready. Pour the sauce over the pasta on a plate and grind the pepper over it.
