Pasta with Gorgonzola sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 300 g pasta, as desired, e.g. penne
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 70 ml dry wine (red or white, both are fine)
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 200 ml milk
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 200g Gorgonzola
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • Basil, cut into strips
  • some lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook pasta until al dente. Dice the onions, sauté in oil, and deglaze with the wine. Simmer for 1-2 minutes. Add the heavy cream and milk and heat until hot. Then add the cream cheese, Gorgonzola, and Parmesan cheese and stir to melt. Season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add fresh basil. Serve mixed with the pasta.
