Pasta with mayonnaise and tuna

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 medium egg yolk
  • 1 can tuna, in its own juice
  • Rapeseed oil
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 300 g pasta

First, prepare the pasta according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, make the mayonnaise. Place the egg yolks in a deep mixing bowl with crushed garlic, vinegar, mustard, and sugar and mix with an immersion blender. Add a thin stream of rapeseed oil and continue mixing until the desired consistency is reached. It’s best to do this with two people or use a blender. Once the mayonnaise is ready, add the tuna and mix with a spoon. Season with salt and pepper. Add the pasta and mix with the sauce. The sauce also makes a great topping for sandwiches.
