Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 g pasta, short (fussili, pennete, farfalle etc.)
  • salt water
  • 300 g minced meat, mixed or beef
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 can of peas or 1 pack of frozen peas
  • 2 cups of cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 17 minutes

very quick, very easy, wonderfully inexpensive and really tasty

Fry the finely chopped onion in a little oil in a high pan until golden brown. Add the minced meat and break it up with a fork or spatula. Season with salt and pepper and fry until well browned. Add the peas with a pinch of sugar and fry briefly. Add the cream, bring to a boil and season again with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer on medium heat for about 10 minutes (or until the pasta reaches the desired consistency). Cook the pasta al dente in plenty of salted water and drain. Return it to the pot and stir briefly to evaporate any remaining water. Simply add the sauce and mix well. If the sauce is still too runny, you can stir some Parmesan cheese into the cooked pasta.
