Pasta with Parma and lemon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta of your choice
  • 100 g Parma ham
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 200 ml white wine
  • 1 jar beef stock
  • 1 bunch lemon balm
  • 1 pinch of lemon zest, grated
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Parmesan, freshly sliced
  • possibly sauce thickener if required

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Pasta in ham and lemon sauce

Finely chop the ham and fry in hot olive oil. Peel and chop the onions and garlic, and add them. Deglaze with white wine. Add the beef stock, chopped lemon balm, lemon zest, and lemon juice and simmer for about 5-10 minutes. Season to taste and thicken with a sauce thickener if desired. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Arrange on plates and serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. It tastes deliciously refreshing and is quick and easy to make.
