Pasta with scampi and lots of garlic

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta, fresh, red and green
  • salt water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 24 scampi
  • 1 lemon(s) (organic), zest and juice
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 1 bunch of mixed green herbs (dill, flat parsley, basil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Bring the water for the pasta to a boil and add salt. Finely chop the leek, finely slice the garlic, and finely slice the lemon zest using a zester or a vegetable peeler and a knife. Brown everything in butter and oil. Add the scampi, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 4-5 minutes. Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the vegetables and scampi. Finely chop the herbs and sauté for another minute at the end. Add the lemon juice to give the dish a lovely freshness.
