Pasta with spinach and cheese sauce and meat sausage

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 10 cubes creamed spinach, frozen
  • e.g. feta cheese
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 200 g meat sausage
  • 250 g pasta, e.g. spelt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

a nice, quick children’s dish, also vegetarian

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. For the sauce, finely chop or dice the onion and sauté in oil until translucent. Then add the creamed spinach cubes and sauté. Season with salt and pepper, then add the cream cheese. Add a little milk if desired to help it melt. Finally, crumble in the feta cheese. Mix the pasta with the sauce and serve with the sausage (cut into cubes). Super quick and delicious. For a vegetarian version, simply omit the sausage.
