Pasta with Tomato and Chicken Sauce

Ingredients
 

  • 200 g Chicken fillets
  • 1 Medium onion
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 2 stems Fresh basil
  • 100 g Pasta
  • Salt pepper
  • 4 tbsp Frozen peas
  • 400 g Chunky canned tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Chicken broth

Instructions
 

  • Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into thin strips. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Wash the basil and cut into strips.
  • Prepare the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
  • Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the meat all around for about 5 minutes. Add onion and garlic and sauté briefly. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in tomatoes, chicken stock, peas and basil. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes over low heat. If necessary, season again with salt and pepper.
  • Mix the pasta with the sauce. Garnish with basil if necessary.
