Pasta with vegetable sauce and shrimp

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 250 g shrimp(s)
  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 pointed peppers, red
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100 g cocktail tomatoes
  • 1 jar sauce (pasta sauce Siciliana)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • chili powder
  • marjoram
  • oregano
  • some basil
  • some arugula
  • some Parmesan, sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Finely dice the onions and garlic and sauté in olive oil. Add the bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and zucchini in small pieces and sauté over medium heat. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, chili, marjoram, and oregano. Deglaze with the pasta sauce and add the shrimp. Sauté over low heat. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions. Add a little of the pasta water to the sauce and season to taste. Toss the spaghetti with the sauce and garnish with arugula, basil, and Parmesan cheese. The arugula is especially delicious with a little olive oil.
