Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 banana(s)
  • 100 g butter
  • 200 g wholemeal spelt flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

without sugar

Melt the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds or take it out of the fridge well in advance of baking so it comes to room temperature. Mash the banana in a bowl with a fork or potato masher. Stir in the softened butter. Weigh in the flour and knead everything into a dough. Cover the dough and place it in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Remove the baking tray beforehand. Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick. Use a knife to cut 1-1.5 cm wide strips into the dough. Divide the strips to create manageable sticks (4-5 cm long). Arrange them next to each other on the baking tray and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. The cookies can also be cut out using the normal method. You can also add grated zucchini or carrots. I gave these cookies to my daughter when she was 6 months old and she loves them.
