Pasta with yogurt and minced meat sauce

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 m.-large tomato(s)
  • 3 pointed peppers
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 300 g yogurt
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 300 g minced meat
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta until al dente. Meanwhile, peel and grate the onions. Wash the tomatoes and remove the stems. Make a cross-shaped cut in the tomatoes and briefly blanch them in boiling water. Peel the skin and chop the tomatoes. Wash the pointed peppers, remove the stems and seeds, and cut the peppers into thin rings or half rings. Peel the garlic cloves and press them through a garlic press. Add them to the yogurt along with 1 teaspoon of salt and mix well. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the onions until translucent. Add the vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the ground meat and cook until crumbly. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix the tomato paste with 1/2 cup of water and pour in. Let everything simmer over medium heat for a while, then season again with salt, pepper, and paprika. Serve the pasta first, then the meat sauce, and finally the yogurt.
