Pastries: Red Angel Eyes

- 250 g Flour
- 1 Tl Baking powder
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Pck Vanilla sugar
- 3 Egg yolk
- 150 g Butter
- Currant or raspberry jelly
- Powdered sugar
- Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, egg yolks and butter. Mix briefly with the dough hook and knead into a dough.
- Shape into 6 rolls and place in the fridge for an hour. Then cut 6 slices from each roll and shape them into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Make a recess in each ball with a wooden spoon and pour the jelly into it with a teaspoon. Bake in a preheated oven (fan oven) at 175 C ° for 10 – 12 minutes. Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
