Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter, soft
- 75 g peanut butter
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 175 g brown sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 300 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 75 g chocolate (chocolate drops), alternatively chocolate pieces – no chocolate shavings
- 150 g peanuts, chopped (unsalted)
- 150 g chopped walnuts or almond sticks
- possibly chocolate, melted

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 14 minutes; Total time approx. 44 minutes

Cream the butter and peanut butter until fluffy. Add the vanilla sugar and brown sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the egg. Mix the flour and baking powder and gradually stir in. Add the chocolate chips, peanuts, and walnuts (or almonds) and fold in. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place mounds of dough on the sheet, leaving some space between them (the cookies will expand during baking). I use about 1 heaped teaspoon of dough for small, bite-sized cookies. If you want larger ones like the ones you get at the bakery, use more (since the dough is quite firm and rather crumbly due to the many nuts and chocolate chips, I usually shape the cookies into small balls by hand). Bake at 170°C for approx. 12-14 minutes. When you take them out of the oven, they will still be slightly soft on the outside – once they cool, they will firm up. If you want, you can dip the bottom of the cookies into melted chocolate after they have cooled down – they taste great without it too.
