Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 80 g peanuts, unsalted
- 100 g butter, soft
- 70 g peanut butter
- 100 g cane sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 120 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 50 g dark chocolate
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Roughly chop the peanuts. Cream together the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and egg. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in. Fold in 40g of peanuts. Use a teaspoon to place heaps of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving enough space between each heap to allow the cookies to spread. Sprinkle with the remaining peanuts, press down lightly, and bake at 160°C (fan oven) for about 15 minutes. Carefully loosen and let cool on a wire rack. Roughly chop the chocolate, melt it in a bain-marie, fill it into a small piping bag, and cover the cookies in stripes. If the cookies are for Christmas, you can decorate them with colorful sugar pearls, etc.
