Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Serve lukewarm
Using the whisk attachment of a hand mixer, beat the sugar and butter in a bowl until fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Roughly chop the chocolate and peanuts and mix them into the batter. Mix the baking powder with 2/3 of the flour and the cinnamon. Stir this mixture into the batter and then fold in the remaining flour. The dough should be light and slightly sticky. With floured hands, form 30 balls from the dough and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Flatten the balls slightly and bake on the middle rack of an oven preheated to 200°C (top/bottom heat, fan: 180°C, gas mark 3) for about 15 minutes.
