Pear and Apple Tart

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of puff pastry, frozen
  • 1 small can of pear(s) or 3 fresh pears
  • 2 small apples
  • 250 g quark
  • 200 g sugar
  • some vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry and roll it out thinly. Place it in a greased springform pan and prick the pastry several times with a fork. Pre-bake at 200°C (top and bottom heat) for 8 minutes. Peel and core the apples (and fresh pears, if using) and thinly slice all the fruit. Season the quark with the vanilla syrup and a little sugar. If it’s too dry, add a little canned pear juice and stir until smooth. Spread the quark over the puff pastry. Alternate pears and apple slices over the quark. Caramelize the remaining sugar in a saucepan and drizzle over the tart. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for another 20 minutes.
