Pear in Mountain Cheese Dough on Wild Herb Leaf Salad with Walnut Dressing

The perfect pear in mountain cheese dough on wild herb leaf salad with walnut dressing recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 5 Pc. Pears
  • 90 g Flour
  • 1 Pc. Egg
  • 1 Pc. Lemon
  • 120 g Mountain cheese
  • 100 ml White wine
  • 2 Pc. Thyme
  • Oil
  • Leaf lettuce
  • Edible flowers
  • 20 g Walnuts
  • 2 tbsp Walnut oil
  • 2 cups Natural yoghurt
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  1. Wash the salad and set aside, quarter the pears, leaving the stem and peel on.

For the dough:

  1. Mix the flour, 1 egg, pepper, salt, sugar, wine, grated lemon zest and grated mountain cheese to a dough. Turn the pear wedges in flour and then add to the batter. As soon as everything is coated, bake everything in the hot fat until golden brown.

For the dressing:

  1. Mix the yoghurt, vinegar, mustard, and walnut oil, season with salt and pepper. Add a splash of lemon juice if you like. Briefly toast the chopped walnuts in the pan. Arrange the salad with the wild herbs on a plate, add pear slices. Drizzle the prepared dressing over it and sprinkle the roasted walnuts over it.
