Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 350 g flour
  • ¾ cup nuts (pecan), chopped
  • n. B. Nuts (pecan), halved

Cream the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until fluffy. Add the flour and chopped pecans and stir in. Chill the dough for one hour. Then shape into rolls about 4 cm in diameter, wrap in foil, and chill overnight (if you don’t have that much time, you can place them in the freezer for about 2 hours instead). Preheat the oven to 175°C (top/bottom heat). Cut the dough rolls into slices about 1/2 cm thick and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Decorate each with a halved pecan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned. Makes about 75 to 80 rolls.
