Peel the kohlrabi – this is how you do it
First of all, you should wash the vegetables very neatly. Then, before you start peeling, you should follow the following steps:
- First, remove the bottom of the kohlrabi with a knife.
- Then cut off the leaf stalks of the kohlrabi.
- With kohlrabi, you can simply peel off the skin with a knife. It is best to start from the base of the leaf. A vegetable peeler works just as well.
- The peel will get thinner and thinner as you peel it and you shouldn’t have a hard time peeling it off.
- Any leftovers in the kohlrabi flesh can be removed individually with a knife at the end.

- Peel open-range produce generously.
- Depending on your needs, you can cut the kohlrabi into slices, cubes, or strips.
- The leaves of the kohlrabi are also edible. They can be prepared as tasty as spinach.
