Penne with green beans and feta cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g penne
  • 150 g sheep’s cheese, soft, (more if needed)
  • 250 g beans, fresh green, cleaned
  • 3 stalks savory, fresh
  • 100 g ham, diced
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • Pepper, from the mill
  • Olive oil, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the penne according to the instructions. Cook the beans in salted water with a little savory until crisp, then refresh in ice water. Fry the ham cubes until crispy, then add the finely chopped garlic and sauté. Transfer the penne to a large bowl, add the beans and the finely shredded feta cheese, and top with the bacon and garlic mixture. Mix everything thoroughly with the remaining savory and season with coarse pepper. Drizzle with olive oil to taste.
