Penne with mozzarella, apple, and red cabbage

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 450 g red cabbage
  • 250g penne
  • 100 g mango chutney
  • 250g mozzarella
  • 100 ml cream or Cremefine
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat the red cabbage according to the instructions and cook the penne until al dente, then drain in a colander. First, add 3/4 of the chutney to the red cabbage and, depending on your preference, season the red cabbage with the remaining chutney. Cut the mozzarella into small pieces and add it to the red cabbage, allowing it to melt. Finally, stir in the cream. Pour the red cabbage and cheese sauce over the penne and serve. Turkey steak is recommended as a meat side dish.
