Almond muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 140 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g sugar
  • 80 g butter, melted
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 150 ml milk (1.5%)
  • 10 ml brandy (Asbach Uralt)
  • 2 tbsp chocolate shavings

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

First, sift all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix. Whisk the butter with the cold milk (in a separate bowl). Add the Asbach to the milk and stir in the egg. Then combine the dry and wet ingredients and mix well. Fill the muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 170°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes. This yields between 9 and 12 muffins… depending on your body control and whether you nibble on the batter or not.
