Pepper Beef Like Chinese

The perfect pepper beef like chinese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Pepper beef:
  • 20 g Fresh ginger
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp Telly cherry pepper
  • 300 g Beef rump steak
  • 2 Fresh onions
  • 6 tbsp Soy sauce chinese
  • 50 g Apricot jam
  • 1 tsp Chili Sauce (Sambal Oelek)
  • 6 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 0,5 tsp Food starch
  • 1 pinch Garlic pepper from my KB
  • 1 pinch Seasoned salt from my KB
  • 1 pinch Crushed red pepper
  • 200 ml Water
  • Green asparagus:
  • 1 bunch Asparagus green
  • 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 1 pinch Seasoned salt from my KB
  • 1 pinch Garlic pepper from my KB

Pepper beef:

  1. Cut the beef. Peel the ginger. Chop the ginger and 1 clove of garlic and marinate the beef with Telly cherry pepper and the ginger / garlic!
  2. Halve the onion and cut into thin wedges. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the meat in 2 portions over high heat for 2-3 minutes and remove. Heat the oil in the frying fat. Fry the onions in it over a medium heat for 5 minutes. Mix 1/2 tsp sambal olek with 6 tbsp soy sauce and 50 g apricot jam and add to the onions.
  3. Next, peel the lower third of the asparagus and cut into fine strips. Heat the oil and sweat the asparagus in it. Season with garip pepper and seasoned salt.
  4. Pour 4,200 ml of water to the onions and bring to the boil. Dissolve 1/2 tsp cornstarch in a little cold water. Pour the starch into the sauce while stirring and bring to the boil. Add the meat and meat juice and let it steep in the sauce for 2 minutes. Serve the meat and asparagus sprinkled with Pul Bieber and pepper.
  5. Also goes well with it. Then it tastes like Chinese! There will be soon 🙂
