Pepper Beef Like Chinese
The perfect pepper beef like chinese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- Pepper beef:
- 20 g Fresh ginger
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 1 tsp Telly cherry pepper
- 300 g Beef rump steak
- 2 Fresh onions
- 6 tbsp Soy sauce chinese
- 50 g Apricot jam
- 1 tsp Chili Sauce (Sambal Oelek)
- 6 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 0,5 tsp Food starch
- 1 pinch Garlic pepper from my KB
- 1 pinch Seasoned salt from my KB
- 1 pinch Crushed red pepper
- 200 ml Water
- Green asparagus:
- 1 bunch Asparagus green
- 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 1 pinch Seasoned salt from my KB
- 1 pinch Garlic pepper from my KB
Pepper beef:
- Cut the beef. Peel the ginger. Chop the ginger and 1 clove of garlic and marinate the beef with Telly cherry pepper and the ginger / garlic!
- Halve the onion and cut into thin wedges. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the meat in 2 portions over high heat for 2-3 minutes and remove. Heat the oil in the frying fat. Fry the onions in it over a medium heat for 5 minutes. Mix 1/2 tsp sambal olek with 6 tbsp soy sauce and 50 g apricot jam and add to the onions.
- Next, peel the lower third of the asparagus and cut into fine strips. Heat the oil and sweat the asparagus in it. Season with garip pepper and seasoned salt.
- Pour 4,200 ml of water to the onions and bring to the boil. Dissolve 1/2 tsp cornstarch in a little cold water. Pour the starch into the sauce while stirring and bring to the boil. Add the meat and meat juice and let it steep in the sauce for 2 minutes. Serve the meat and asparagus sprinkled with Pul Bieber and pepper.
