Pepper tart

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 175 g wheat flour
  • 75 g margarine
  • 5 tbsp water
  • 2 large bell peppers, red and green
  • some rapeseed oil
  • some paprika powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). For the dough, combine the wheat flour with margarine, water, and a little salt and pepper; knead into a smooth dough. Line a 20cm springform pan with baking paper and spread the dough evenly in the pan. For the topping, wash and trim the two bell peppers, cut them into small pieces, drizzle with a little rapeseed oil, and bake on a baking sheet for about 20 minutes. Then arrange the grilled bell pepper strips on the tart and sprinkle with a little paprika, salt, and pepper. Cut the feta cheese into small cubes and place it on top of the tart. Now bake the tart for about 20 minutes. Serve.
