Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g rice
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 250 g sausages (Debreziner)
  • 2 large bell peppers, e.g. red and yellow
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Prepare the rice as usual. Finely chop the onion, Debreziner (a type of sausage), and the vegetables. Fry the onions in a little oil, add the sausage and vegetables, and cook briefly. Add the tomato paste and canned tomatoes, adding a little water if necessary. Simmer for a few minutes, but the peppers should still have some bite. Finally, stir in the rice and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. It also tastes great with zucchini instead of the spring onions.
