Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 32 ladyfingers
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 pack of jelly (lemon flavor)
  • 125 ml water
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • ½ liter cream
  • 400 g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 8 ladyfingers for garnishing

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 40 minutes

Crush the 32 sponge fingers and knead with the butter. Mix the jelly with 1/8 liter of water (let it swell for 10 minutes) and heat with 4 tablespoons of sugar. Press the sponge mixture into the bottom of a springform pan. Whip the cream until stiff and mix with the cheese, lemon juice, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Stir in the jelly and fold in the cream. Spread the mixture evenly over the sponge base. Finally, decorate with 8 sponge fingers (but this is not necessary). Let it set in the refrigerator, preferably overnight.
