Philadelphia Cheese Steak Sandwich

Heat a pan over medium heat and add the oil. Add the onion, mushrooms, and bell peppers and cook for about 8 minutes, until lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Add the garlic, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 30 seconds. Place everything on one side of the pan. Place the steak strips on the open surface of the pan and cook for a maximum of 2 minutes, then mix everything together. Divide the steak into 2 portions in the pan and spread the cheese on each half. In the meantime, cut the baguettes in half lengthwise and hollow out a little. Once the cheese has melted on the meat mixture, spread the mixture on one bottom piece of each baguette and cover with the top piece. Tip: Optionally, you can add a little ketchup to the meat mixture before adding the bun lid.
