Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 large zucchini
- 6 onions
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 bell peppers, red
- 2 bell peppers, green
- 100 g salt
- ¾ liter vinegar (wine vinegar)
- 500 g sugar
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp celery salt
- 6 tbsp mustard seeds
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 30 minutes
Chop the zucchini, onions, garlic, and bell peppers and place them in a large pot. Make a broth from the salt, wine vinegar, sugar, turmeric, celery salt, and mustard seeds and pour it over the vegetables. Place several ice packs in the zucchini mixture. Let it steep for 6 hours. Then bring the mixture to a boil briefly and pour it into jars while still hot.
