Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • ¼ bottle of gin (Pimm’s No. 1)
  • ½ bottle of lemonade or ginger ale
  • 1 orange(s), untreated, washed
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated, washed
  • 1 apple, washed
  • ¼ cucumber(s), washed
  • a few sprigs of mint

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

My British uncle’s recipe

Chill the Pimm’s and lemonade or ginger ale. Meanwhile, slice the orange, lemon, and cucumber. Core the apple and cut into wedges. Pick the mint leaves from the stems and place them in a large carafe along with the fruit and cucumber. Now add the Pimm’s and top up with lemonade or ginger ale, to taste. Serve chilled. This is considered a typical summer drink in England.
