Elderflower punch

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 10 elderflower heads
  • 1 bunch of mint
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated
  • 3 lemons
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 bottle of white wine
  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 10 minutes

Slice the untreated lemon and squeeze the remaining lemons. Combine the lemon slices and juice, along with the sugar, water, blossoms, and mint, in a sealable carafe or bowl and let it steep at room temperature for 24 hours. (Be sure to chill the white wine and sparkling wine.) Filter the mixture and pour in the white wine and sparkling wine.
