Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 bulbs of garlic
  • 2 chili peppers, red
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • n. B. Salt
  • 300 ml vegetable oil

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Vegetarian

The quantity is for 2 twist-off jars (250 ml each). Sterilize the jars beforehand. Peel the garlic. Wash the chilies, slit them lengthwise, and trim them. Roughly chop the pods and crush them in a mortar with the cumin and a little salt. Heat the oil with the garlic and chilies in a saucepan for 5-10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly, then fill the jars and seal them. Store in a cool, dark place. Will keep for at least 3 months. The garlic can be served with appetizers or simply braised with all kinds of dishes. I also like to use some of the oil for seasoning.
