American style pizza with pineapple, tuna, bacon, boiled egg, and peppers
For the dough, mix the flour and dry yeast. Then slowly add olive oil, water, and milk and knead. If the dough is still too dry, add a little more water and milk. If it’s too runny, add a little more flour. Finally, form the dough into a large ball and let it rise in a bowl in a warm place for about an hour. Heat the tomato sauce in a small saucepan over low heat and season to taste. Stir occasionally (the longer the sauce simmers, the better it will taste). While the dough is proving and the sauce is simmering, prepare the topping. Drain the liquid from the cans of tuna and pineapple. Cut the bacon into strips about 2 cm wide (this is easier with clean scissors). Thinly slice the mozzarella, peppers, eggs, onions, and garlic. After the dough has rested for an hour, it should have risen well. Knead thoroughly and roll out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Then spread the sauce evenly over the dough. Next, add the tuna, egg, pineapple, and bell peppers to the sauce. Next, add the mozzarella slices, which are spread evenly over the pizza. Be careful not to place them too close to the edge! Then sprinkle the grated cheese on top. To make the bacon really crispy, place it right on top of the pizza, along with the onions and garlic, on top of the cheese. Bake at 200°C (fan oven, top/bottom heat: 220°C) for about 40–50 minutes.
