Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 100 g diced ham
  • 375 ml water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 125 g margarine
  • 250 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • possibly herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Bring the water to a boil with salt and margarine. Add the flour and stir until a white coating forms on the bottom of the pot. Remove from the heat and stir in the eggs, diced ham, onions, and cheese, one at a time. Season to taste. Knead by hand if necessary. Place on two baking sheets lined with parchment paper. With wet hands, form into balls and bake at 180 degrees Celsius (convection oven) (without preheating) for 30 to 40 minutes, or until browned and crispy.
