Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 700 g wheat flour
- 30 g yeast, fresh
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 400 ml water, lukewarm
- 1 egg(s)
- some milk
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 200 ml tomato ketchup
- salt and pepper
- Herbs (pizza herbs)
- 200 g ham, cut into strips
- 150 g cheese (Edam), also cut into strips

Make a yeast dough from the first 5 ingredients. Let it rise for about 1 hour. Roll it out into a round flatbread. Mix the tomato paste, ketchup, and seasonings and spread it on the flatbread. Then divide the dough into 8 slices and top with ham and cheese. Roll each slice up from the wide side and place it on a baking sheet. Bake at 180°C for about 35-45 minutes. Halfway through baking, brush the croissants with the egg and milk mixture.
