Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 15 g yeast, fresh
- 2 tbsp water, warm
- 225 g flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp milk, about
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Mix the yeast in the lukewarm water. Sift flour and salt onto a chopping board, make a well in the middle, and pour in the yeast, oil, and milk. Mix everything together to form a firm but pliable dough. Add a little more milk if necessary. Knead the dough vigorously by slapping it on the work surface and rolling it back and forth with the palm of your hand for at least 5 minutes. Form the dough into a ball, place it in an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size. Let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour, or at room temperature for 2-3 hours. Then place the dough on a floured work surface, divide it into 2 or 4 pieces, depending on the size of the pizza. Knead each piece lightly and place it in a well-oiled pan. Spread the dough evenly in the pan with flour-dusted fingers, pulling up the sides by about 1 cm. Brush the dough with oil, add the desired topping, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 220°C. Then reduce the temperature to 180°C and leave in the oven for another 5-10 minutes until cooked through.
